Question on playing an older PC game on a newer PC. For example, "ROME:

Total War" is a game I liked a lot 15 years ago. If it loaded it on my PC now, would it run just as it did back then....or would the faster processor and more memory make the AI of the game act that much more quickly such that I'd never keep up?

Similar question on things like Starcraft and Warcraft from circa 2000.
